Pegasus Jackets Safari Coat Steerhide Leather Jacket

The Safari Coat is a military inspired field jacket or bush coat design popular during the 1930's all the way through to WWII.  The jackets of the era were in cotton and there was a revival of this style in the 1970's in leather. Our interpretation of this classic is functional and elegant at the same time. With plenty of pockets, this is the perfect adventure / traveling jacket. A truly classic design for the gentleman on or off the bike.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

  • Four buttoned external pockets (cargo pockets on the side) and inside button pocket to keep plenty of gear while on the road.
  • Premium genuine horn buttons (genuine buffalo horn).
  • Shoulder Epaulets.
  • Premium 100% cotton lining in the body, high quality satin in the sleeves, and heavy duty pocket linings.
  • Leather facings on wear areas such as the inside armpits.

CONSTRUCTION:

  • Action back pleats for movement.
  • Underarm vents with leather wear areas.
